LYNNWOOD EARL'S KITCHEN COUNTER

Pull Up a Chair!

It's the wondrous "catch-all" of our lives, the kitchen counter. Mail, keys, homework, wallets, phones, dishes, cooking tools, groceries - - they all end up there at one time or another (or maybe they never left!). In my house, it's also where everyone gathers. Someone once said, "No matter where I serve my guests, it seems they like my kitchen best." And it's true. Babies wander in looking for Momma or Grandma, teens are on the hunt for food, someone sneaks in for a hug, and somebody else is just happy to hang out.

How many treasured moments have started and ended at your kitchen counter? How many amazing (or not-so-amazing) meals? How many times have you cleared and cleaned that counter only to have it filled up again? What a marvelous resemblance of life!

I have been blessed to have lots of memories and lots of fun at my kitchen counter. This culinary blog is my way of giving back and sharing some of those memories. Pull up a seat and let's have a good chat, a good laugh, and some good food!
